Our History
The Launch of OSC
In January of 2000, our Founding Pastors, Bubba & Tracy McCann, began dreaming of starting a church where people like you could begin a relationship with Jesus and see their lives built on the foundation of the Bible. The dream was to start a church that was life-giving, spirit-filled and would emphasize reaching people and building lives. With clear direction from God and the blessing of their pastor, Bubba and Tracy along with their family moved from Broussard, LA to Jennings, LA to plant Our Savior’s Church Jennings.
The Early Days
That dream became reality as a handful of people gathered in the ballroom of a Holiday Inn. Pastor Bubba and that initial OSC group focused on reaching out to the non-churched community and building relationships throughout the city. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday Services, and the simple style of Our Savior’s Church brought growth. Over the next seven years land and buildings would be acquired to accommodate the many people coming to faith in Jesus.

In September of 2007, God had another exciting step for OSC. Our second location launched in Eunice, LA and OSC became one church in two locations. In September of 2014, OSC grew even larger by planting its third location in Crowley, Louisiana.

Future Legacy
On November 24, 2019, Pastor Bubba & Tracy McCann passed the baton of Senior Pastor to Josh & Lindsey Belt.
OSC’s story is still unfolding and continuing to grow today like never before. Over the last 20 years, the church has grown and changed quite a bit, but what hasn’t changed is our purpose to make disciples and plant churches by “Reaching People and Building Lives.”
