Hurricane Ida Relief
In response to Hurricane Ida, Our Savior’s Church is working in cooperation with national and local churches and other relief organizations to provide relief and assistance.
You can get involved in two ways:
Serve with Mercy Chefs
With the extreme devastation across East Louisiana caused by Hurricane Ida, Mercy Chefs is reaching as many people with a hot, chef-prepared meals. The situation is desperate, and Mercy Chefs is committed to serving at least 15,000 hot meals today. They are in need of man power to maximize their ability to feed more people by distributing meals to churches and organizations across Metarie, LaPlace, Kenner, New Orleans, and Houma.

Serve with Eight Days Of Hope
Eight Days of Hope is a Christian, nonprofit organization that exists to love and serve those in need. Last year Eight Days of Hope was based out of our Jennings campus after Hurricane Laura and Delta and helped over 500 families. The primary work EDOH will be doing is removing debris, mucking out homes, and assisting families with whatever they need.
Volunteer opportunities are available September 4th through September 24th. Check-in is at Church of the King – Little Creek Campus. The address is: 22205 Little Creek Rd, Mandeville, LA 70471. EDOH requires everyone to be 18 years or older in order to serve.
